The crash test of the highest speed train in China was successfully completed on the test bed of CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd. The successful completion of this test indicates that CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd.'s crash test capability in the field of vehicle passive safety has reached the international advanced level.
According to experts from CRRC Sifang Co., Ltd., the collision speed of this collision test is 52 km/h, which is the highest vehicle-level collision test in China, which is much higher than the speed specified by European collision safety standards. It is also the first collision test of real vehicle dummy configuration in China. The crash test effectively verified the key energy absorption indicators and impact stability of high-speed rail vehicles.
Experts say that in the field of high-speed trains in the world, passive safety protection is a technical "commanding height". Passive safety protection means that when a train collides accidentally, the train energy absorbing device is reasonably matched to make it absorb the impact energy stably and reliably, so as to minimize collision damage and protect passenger safety. Among them, the front end of the cab is the "first to bear the brunt" point of the train impact, and the impact resistance of the energy absorption device is particularly important.
After five years of research and development, the research and development team of China Railway Sifang Co., Ltd. has broken through the core technology of high-speed train collision, and for the first time developed a strong guiding energy absorbing device at the end of the driver's cab of a high-speed train, and the energy absorbing capacity of the whole train has reached the international leading level.
