At 11: 47 on June 13, the 5073 and 5050 of CRH5A EMU equipped with testing equipment reconnected from Wulanchabu Station and galloped on the Wulanchabu-Huai 'an section of Zhanghu High-speed Railway, starting to test the high-speed railway driving equipment in this section, which means that the joint commissioning and test work of the Wulanchabu-Huai 'an section of Zhanghu High-speed Railway has entered a new stage.
The Zhang-Hu high-speed railway is 286.8 kilometers long, connecting Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province, Wulanchabu and Hohhot in Inner Mongolia. The design speed of the Zhang-Hu high-speed railway is 250 kilometers per hour, and the whole line will be opened simultaneously with the Beijing-Zhang high-speed railway by the end of this year. After the opening of the Zhanghu high-speed rail, the train running time from Hohhot to Beijing will be shortened from the current fastest 10 hours to 3 hours.
The Zhanghu high-speed railway crosses the Yinshan Mountains and passes through the Ming Great Wall, and the Yinshan Mountains are an important natural and cultural dividing line in my country. Huangqihai is an important migratory bird migration transfer station in my country. In order to minimize the impact of high-speed rail construction on the natural environment, In the design and planning, the straight line design was changed to bypass the longest section in the reserve. In the Dajian Mountain area of Huai'an County, Hebei Province, the construction of the Zhanghu high-speed railway is affected by factors such as topography and geological structure, and must pass through the hills where the beacon tower of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty is located. In order to protect cultural relics, the trend of the line has changed from gradual uplift to steady forward. The high-speed railway in the Dajian Mountain area is designed into six continuous tunnels, which are strictly monitored during the construction process to minimize the impact of tunneling on the natural environment.
After the opening of the Zhanghu high-speed railway, people in the depths of the prairie can not only arrive in Beijing within three hours, but also reach more and farther places in one day, not only to give their hearts a holiday in tourism, but also to realize more dreams of one family in two cities, as well as schooling, employment and entrepreneurship.
