Shanghai Maintenance Station CRH3 EMU Axle Exchange Press-fit Maintenance Successfully Passed Preliminary Examination

On April 11, 2019, organized by the Vehicle Department of Shanghai Bureau, Shanghai Vehicle Department, Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd. Vehicle Department, Shanghai EMU Depot Acceptance Room, China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. Taiyuan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Supervision Project Department, CRRC Tangshan Experts from Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., CRRC Changchun Rail Bus Co., Ltd., and Zhihu Railway Equipment Co., Ltd, in the Shanghai EMU section, a preliminary review was conducted on the exchange and press-fitting of different suppliers of CRH3 EMUs at the Shanghai Maintenance Station of Zhiqi Railway Equipment Co., Ltd.
The expert group listened to the report of Zhiqi Company on the wheel-to-wheel exchange and press-fitting of CRH3 EMU in Shanghai maintenance station, consulted the relevant data of technical documents, production management, quality control, personnel management and other aspects, and checked the equipment of plant facilities, maintenance equipment and tooling on the spot, the inspection focuses on the operation process and quality of wheel press-fitting, axle press-fitting, rim spoke overshooting, wheel pair dynamic balance and bearing press-fitting.
After full discussion by the expert group, it is believed that the relevant process documents and quality control documents of Shanghai maintenance station can guide the on-site operation. The on-site operation environment, tooling equipment, process flow, detection means and personnel skills can meet the requirements of wheel set decomposition and maintenance, the on-site operation process conforms to the process regulations, and it is unanimously agreed to pass the preliminary review.
The successful passage of the preliminary examination of axle exchange and press-fitting of different suppliers marks a new beginning for Zhiqi Company in the field of wheelset maintenance of high-speed EMUs.
