At 9 o'clock on June 20th, a comprehensive inspection vehicle for a high-speed train drove out of Xi'an North Station and drove all the way south to Hanzhong, marking the official launch of the joint commissioning of the Shaanxi section of the Xicheng High-speed Railway, my country's first high-speed railway crossing the Qinling Mountains. The opening and operation of the whole line has taken another solid step.
The Xicheng high-speed railway passes through the most important north-south dividing line in China's geography, and is the first high-speed railway in China to cross the Qinling Mountains. Of the 643km long line, the main line from Xi'an North to Jiangyou is about 509km long (about 343km in Shaanxi Province and 166km in Sichuan Province). There are 16 stations in Xi'an North (existing), Afang Palace, Huxian East, Xinchang Street, Foping, Yangxian West, Chenggu North, Hanzhong (existing), Xinji, Ningqiang South, Chaotian, Guangyuan (existing), Jianmenguan, Qingchuan, Jiangyou North and Jiangyou (existing). The design speed is 250 kilometers per hour. The project has been under construction since October 2012 and is scheduled to be put into operation within this year. By then, the train running time from Xi'an to Chengdu will be shortened from the current 16 hours to 3 hours.
"The joint test section of the Shaanxi section of the Xi 'an-Chengdu high-speed railway is from Xi 'an north to Chaotian." The relevant person in charge of the Xi'an Railway Bureau said that the joint commissioning and joint test projects mainly include track, subgrade, bridge, train aerodynamic response, electric traction power supply, communication, signal, passenger service system, natural disaster and foreign body intrusion detection system, integrated Comprehensive testing and dynamic acceptance of grounding, electromagnetic environment, vibration and noise, etc.
The Xicheng High-speed Railway is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming Corridor of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network in the national medium and long-term railway network planning. Together with the Daxi High-speed Railway, it forms a new channel from North China to Southwest China, connecting North China, Northwest and Southwest China. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Taiyuan, Guanzhong Plain, Chengdu-Chongqing, Central Yunnan and other urban agglomerations. The geology and geomorphology of the Shaanxi section of the Xicheng high-speed railway is very complex, which is a difficult and key area for the design and construction of the whole line. Among them, to cross the 134-kilometer-long Qinling tunnel group consisting of 20 tunnels, including the Tianhuashan Tunnel, the longest high-speed railway double-line tunnel in Asia, it is also necessary to overcome the important factors such as locomotive traction braking, traction power supply and transportation safety of the long ramp. Among them, the 45-kilometer-long 25 ‰ long ramp has a direct drop of 1100 meters, which is the highest in the country and rare in the world.
As an important link connecting the northwest and southwest, after the Xicheng high-speed railway is completed and opened to traffic, a "three-hour economic circle" will be formed between Xi'an and Chengdu, which will greatly facilitate the travel of the people of the two places and promote tourism. it is also of great significance to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two major economic zones of "Guantian" and "Chengdu-Chongqing" and to improve the construction of regional high-speed railway network.
