From 0:00 on July 1, the railway department will implement the second phase of the 2018 train operation map. After the implementation of the new map, the total number of passenger cars in the management of Xi'an Bureau Group Company will reach 344.5 pairs. Among them, 183 pairs of EMU trains, accounting for 53% of the total number of operations, a new record.

In this map adjustment, Xi'an Bureau Group Company will operate a pair of high-speed EMU trains from Xi'an North to Kunming South for the first time, with a running time of about 10 hours, which is about 26 hours less than the running time of the existing ordinary speed trains, greatly shortening the journey time. At the same time, the company increased the density of EMU trains on the Zhengxu, Daxi, Xicheng, and Baolan high-speed rail lines; added 1 pair of high-speed EMU trains from Xi'an North to Wenzhou South, 3 pairs of trains from Xi'an North to Taiyuan South EMU, Xi'an North to Zhangye West, Lanzhou West to Xi'an North EMU 1 pair. In view of the fact that the peak passenger flow of high-speed rail lines such as Xicheng and Baolan is booming, the company has added 10 pairs of EMU trains from Xi'an to Chengdu, Chongqing, Tianshui, Jiayuguan and other popular tourist cities outside the province, and 11.5 pairs of peak lines within the pipeline to ensure the summer travel demand of passengers.

According to the requirements of "one map per day" of China Railway Corporation, Xi 'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is close to the market demand, subdivides the difference between daily and weekend passenger flow, and fully exploits the capacity of EMUs. 15.5 pairs of EMUs from Xi 'an north to Shenzhen north, Wenzhou south, Zhengzhou, Chengdu east, Taiyuan south, Xining, Baoji south and Yan 'an will be operated from Monday to Thursday with single EMUs and on weekends. In addition, the company changed and extended the operating section of 9 pairs of trains. In terms of general-speed trains, the company added 3 pairs of fast passenger trains from Xi'an to Ankang, Yulin, and Shenmu to further improve transportation capacity and better meet the summer travel needs of passengers.
