On the morning of June 12, as the track-laying machine pulled the last group of 500-meter-long rails into position accurately, the track-laying of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway was completed.
The track paving of the whole line of Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is a landmark node in the construction of Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway. The track fine adjustment, electrification equipment installation and commissioning will be carried out in the future, laying an important foundation for the joint commissioning of Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway in September this year and the opening at the end of the year.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" Jinglan corridor in the national "medium-and long-term railway network planning", an important basic project for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and an important transportation guarantee facility for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway starts from Beijing North Station and passes through Qinghe Station, Changping Station, Badaling Great Wall Station, East Garden North Station, Huailai Station, Xia Garden North Station, Xuanhua North Station and Zhangjiakou Station, with a total length of 174 kilometers. After completion, the time from Beijing to Zhangjiakou by high-speed rail will be shortened to within one hour, and it will be connected to the two high-speed rail lines of Huzhang and Dazhang, which is of great significance for promoting the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and connecting the western region.
Modern Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway and Centennial Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway
After the completion of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, it will become the world's first intelligent high-speed railway. It crosses and parallels the century-old Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, realizing the integration of modernity and history.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, also known as the Beijing-Zhangjiakou section of the Beijing-Kunming high-speed railway, starts from Beijing North Station and ends at Zhangjiakou South Station. The whole line is about 174 kilometers long. There are 10 stations on the main line. Construction will start in the first half of 2016. It is planned to open to traffic at the end of next year, when the train running time from Zhangjiakou to Beijing will be shortened by more than half.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail will be a powerful means of transportation linking the three competition areas of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou for the 2022 Winter Olympics, and will drive Beijing's advantages in science and technology, finance and talents to complement Zhangjiakou's advantages. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway will also realize 350 km/h automatic driving for the first time in the world, with intelligent stations and intelligent lines. The intelligent Beijing-Zhangjiakou EMU will complete debugging and test verification in the first half of next year.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway is the first trunk railway independently designed and constructed in my country. It started construction on September 4, 1905, and was completed and opened to traffic on August 11, 1909. The famous "herringbone" was creatively built by the famous patriotic engineer Mr. Zhan Tianyou. "Railway" successfully solved the traction limit of the 18 kilometers and 33 ‰ slope from Nankou to Qinglong Bridge, and is famous all over the world.
The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway starts from Fengtai, Beijing, connects with the Beijing-Han Railway, and ends in Zhangjiakou. The total length is 201.2 kilometers, of which the Beijing section is 80.2 kilometers. At present, the section from Shacheng to Baotou of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway is still the main transportation line, with an average speed of 85-100 kilometers per hour, running 28 pairs of passenger cars and 65 pairs of freight cars every day. However, the speed of Badaling section of Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway is between 45-50. Since the map was adjusted on April 10 this year, only S2 passenger cars of Beijing suburban railway have been operating here.
More than a hundred years ago, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway broke the assertion that China could not build its own railways. Today's Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is the first intelligent railway in the world.
