Recently, at the construction site of the Chaoyang hub-Shunyi section of the Beijing-Shenyang high-speed railway, engineers and technicians from China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. and Wuhan University used a Beidou inertial integrated navigation railway track geometry state measuring instrument (commonly known as "Beidou inertial navigation trolley") to carry out multi-round precision measurement of the ballasted track with a total of 49.6 kilometers of double lines in this section.
The successful application of Beidou inertial navigation car in the construction of Beijing Shenyang high-speed railway marks the first engineering application in the field of high-speed railway construction since the official opening of Beidou-3 global satellite navigation system on July 31. The localization of all the core sensors of the car is of great significance to the application of Beidou and the construction of high-speed rail.
Rao Xiong, technical director of the Beidou Railway Industry Comprehensive Application Demonstration Project of the Fifth Railway Institute, said that the Beidou inertial vehicle integrates a domestic satellite navigation receiver and inertial navigation system supporting Beidou 3, which can quickly and accurately obtain the three-dimensional position coordinates, attitude and gauge of the track, and realize the efficient measurement of various geometric parameters such as the track centerline mileage and track direction. Compared with the traditional track precision measurement method, the measurement efficiency is improved by more than 20 times.
