On June 7, China Railway Corporation launched a field test of the automatic driving system of high-speed EMU on the Beijing-Shenyang high-speed railway. This marks that China Railway has achieved important stage results in the independent innovation of key core technologies of intelligent high-speed rail, and China's overall high-speed rail technology continues to lead the world.

Since March this year, China Railway Corporation has launched a "comprehensive test of intelligent key technologies of high-speed railway" in the Liaoning section of the Beijing Shenyang high-speed railway under construction ". By the end of May, 13 of the 28 trials or test projects had been completed, and the comprehensive trials had achieved phased results. These achievements will be used in the construction of intelligent high-speed rail for the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail and the Beijing-Xiongan New Area intercity railway.

According to reports, this on-site test is an important part of the comprehensive test of key technologies of intelligent high-speed rail. It will provide a large amount of data for the future high-speed EMUs to automatically stop, start, and operate at stations and line sections. The test will continue until the end of September this year.
