From October 26th to 27th, the "China Heavy-haul Railway Technology Exchange and the 30th Anniversary Forum of Daqin Heavy-haul Railway Operation" was held in Taiyuan, from domestic railway system engineering construction, operation and maintenance, equipment manufacturing related enterprises, some universities, About 200 guests from relevant scientific research institutions and the International Heavy-haul Association participated.

Technical exchanges and cooperation in China promote technological innovation of China's heavy-haul railways, and provide technical support for adjusting the transportation structure, increasing railway freight volume, and fighting pollution prevention and fighting.
According to the forum, after 30 years of independent innovation and construction and operation practice, China's heavy-haul railway technology and equipment level and operation and management capabilities have been significantly improved. Especially in recent years, China's heavy-haul railway technology has made breakthrough progress.
Heavy haul trains have successfully implemented experimental research on 30000-ton combined trains. Continue to promote the development of 30-ton axle-load locomotives and vehicles, build a 27-ton axle-load universal and 30-ton axle-load special truck technology platform, and the heavy-load truck technology has reached the world's advanced level. Key technical research on new 30-ton axle-load heavy-haul railway rails, turnouts, tracks, roadbeds, bridges and tunnels has been carried out, it has independently developed a new train mobile communication and synchronous control system for heavy haul railways, which has further improved the technical level of China's heavy haul railways.
The forum revealed that facing the new era, China will vigorously develop heavy-haul railway transportation, gradually realize the large-scale operation of heavy-haul railway transportation network, continue to promote the technological innovation of heavy-haul railway transportation, build a complete set of technology and standard system of heavy-haul railway, innovate the organization mode of heavy-haul railway transportation, and build the demonstration line of Menghua heavy-haul railway. By 2020, China's heavy-haul railway transportation network scale, technical equipment level, technological innovation capability, operation and management level will enter the world's leading level.
The forum comprehensively summarized the operating experience of the 30th anniversary of the operation of the Daqin heavy haul railway. Daqin Railway is the first heavy-haul railway in China. It was opened in 1988 and has been in operation for 30 years this year. Over the past 30 years, through continuous technological innovation, the traffic volume of Daqin Railway has continued to rise, and the annual traffic volume has increased from 0.1 billion tons originally designed to 0.45 billion tons, making it the largest heavy-haul railway in the world last year. The cumulative completed traffic volume has exceeded 6 billion tons, making a significant contribution to China's economic and social development and becoming a landmark achievement in the development of heavy-haul railways in the world.
Liu Zhenfang, member of the Party group and deputy general manager of China Railway Corporation, stressed at the forum that to implement the strategic deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to adjust the transportation structure, increase the railway transportation volume, fight the battle of pollution prevention and control, win the blue sky defense war, improve the comprehensive transportation efficiency and reduce the logistics cost, The railway company has actively carried out the freight increment action, and put forward the goal of increasing the proportion of railway freight transportation by 0.8 billion tons in three years. Heavy haul railway transportation is the most effective way to improve the railway freight capacity and realize the cost reduction and efficiency increase of freight transportation. Vigorously developing heavy-haul railway transportation and accelerating the improvement of railway transportation capacity is not only the need for the development of the railway itself, but also the need to fight the battle of pollution prevention and control and decisively build a well-off society in an all-round way.
During the forum, an exhibition of China's heavy-haul railway development achievements and equipment exhibitions were held. The "Heavy-haul Railway Technology Research Center" will be unveiled and a number of academic reports on heavy-haul railways will be held.
