At the training site, Minister Yang took the laboratory fire of North University of China and the fire in Shuangta North Road warehouse as special cases, and described the great harm of the fire. Among them, the fire of North University of China caused more than 0.3 billion of the property losses. Fortunately, no one died in both fires. Minister Yang said that a total of fire 312000 occurred nationwide in 2016, killing 1582 people, injuring 1065 people and causing direct property losses of 3.72 billion yuan. Then, combined with the fire case, Minister Yang vividly expounded the fire safety knowledge in the form of video, pictures and words, and stressed the necessity of raising fire awareness. at the same time, from the four aspects of fire prevention, fire fighting, escape and self-rescue, a series of fire safety knowledge, such as the process of fire formation, the method of self-rescue and escape, and the types and operation methods of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, fire masks.
