According to the requirements of the China Railway Corporation's Measures for the Administration of Railway Vehicle Maintenance Qualifications, on April 25, 2018, the Shanghai Bureau's Rolling Stock Office organized Chengdu Bureau's Chengdu EMU Depot, Shanghai Railway Safety Supervision Office's Vehicle Acceptance Room, Shanghai Railway Safety Supervision Office's Shanghai EMU Depot Acceptance Room, Taiyuan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Supervision Project Department, Qingdao Sifang Bombardier Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd., Shanghai EMU Depot and other unit experts, in Shanghai EMU section, a preliminary examination was carried out on the CRH380D EMU wheelset decomposition maintenance qualification of Zhiqi Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. Shanghai Maintenance Station.

The expert group listened to Zhiqi's report on the breakdown and maintenance of CRH380D EMU wheelsets at Shanghai Maintenance Station, and consulted relevant information on technical documents, production management, quality control, and personnel management. And to the site to check the plant facilities, maintenance equipment, tooling equipment, which focuses on the inspection of gearbox cleaning, wheel unloading, wheel press-fitting, wheel pair dynamic balance, bearing press-fitting operation process and operation quality. After on-site discussion by the expert group, it was confirmed that Shanghai maintenance station has the decomposition and maintenance capabilities of M1H, M1I, T1H and T1I wheelsets, and unanimously agreed to pass the preliminary examination.

At present, the Shanghai maintenance station of Zhiqi Company has the decomposition and maintenance capabilities of CRH1A/B/E, CRH2A system/2C2/380A, CRH3C/380B(L) wheelsets. The successful passage of the preliminary examination of the qualification for the off-site decomposition and maintenance of CRH380D EMU wheelsets marks the imminent landing of another new maintenance business of the Shanghai maintenance station. Shanghai Maintenance Station is currently the overseas maintenance organization with the most complete types and the largest number of maintenance in our company's maintenance stations.
