On January 20, Zhihu Railway equipment Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Shanghai Bureau Group and Zhiqi Company, held an unveiling ceremony in Shanghai. Tang Lixin, deputy general manager of Shanghai Bureau Group, and Li Xuefeng, vice president of China Academy of Railway Sciences, jointly unveiled Zhihu Railway equipment Co., Ltd. Ge Zhaohua, director of vehicle department of Shanghai Bureau Group, Ye Dan, head of Shanghai EMU section, Yang Huaiwen, chairman of Zhihu Company, and Zhang Wei, general manager of Zhihu Company, attended the ceremony.

                  

At the unveiling ceremony, Comrade Li Xuefeng and Comrade Tang Lixin, as representatives of both sides, congratulated Zhihu Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. on its inauguration. President Li said in his speech that he hoped that after the establishment of the company, Do not forget your initiative mind would keep in mind its mission, refine its management, quality and technology, build a demonstration of the whole road and realize the preservation and appreciation of the rights and interests of both shareholders. Tang also stressed that both sides should be based on the overall situation, put the quality of EMU wheelset maintenance in the first place, and resolutely ensure the safety of high-speed rail and passenger trains. We must adhere to the principle of "resource sharing, win-win cooperation, and work together", further deepen cooperation, promote continuous new results in various tasks, and strive to show new achievements in the new era and new system!

 

As early as 2012, when Zhiqi Company and Shanghai Bureau took the lead in carrying out rotation-to-localization maintenance cooperation, the blueprint for the establishment of Zhihu Company was drawn up. During this period, more than 12000 wheelsets have been overhauled. The overhauled models include CRH1 series, CRH2 series, CRH3 series, CR400AF/BF and other models, which greatly improves the overhaul quality and operation efficiency of wheelsets, shortens the overhaul cycle and reduces the overhaul cost. After more than 6 years of planning and brewing, the blueprint finally became a reality, and Zhihu Company was officially registered and established on January 8, 2019.

The establishment of Zhihu company is in line with the development strategy of Zhiqi company. It officially opened a new era of collectivization development of Zhiqi company. It also played a role of "standard setting and proofing" for the maintenance cooperation between the company and other road bureaus in the future. It is an important milestone in the development history of the company, with far-reaching influence and great significance.
